Oxyptilus chrysodactyla ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

An uncommon species in Belgium.

The larva feeds in the heart of Hieracium umbellatum, H. sabaudum and Picris hieracioides, and later spinning the top-leaves together. Pupation on the upper surface of a leaf or along the stem of the foodplant.

The adults fly from June towards August.  They come to light.
