Chamaesphecia tenthrediniformis ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

A rare species in Belgium, only known from two provinces in the north-east.

The larva bores into the rootstock of Euphorbia esula or Euphorbia salicifolia.

The adults fly in May and June. They are active during daytime.
