Coptotriche gaunacella (Duponchel, 1843)

A rare species in Belgium, mainly known from the southern provinces.

The greenish white larva makes a mine on different species of Prunus. Where the mine becomes a blotch, causing the edge of the leaf to bend over and conceal the mine. Pupation within the mine.

The adults fly in one generation a year during May and June.
