A
common species throughout Belgium, numbers vary considerably between
years.
The
larva makes large, pyriform, white mines on the upper surface of
a leaf of Rubus, especially Rubus fruticosus. The
pupa hibernates inside the mine.
The
adults fly in two generations a year: May-June and August.
