Acleris literana (Linnaeus, 1758)

A rather rare species in Belgium, not so often met with.

The larva lives between spun leaves on Quercus spp. Pupation also between spun leaves. The adult hibernates.

The adults fly from late July till May. The moths occasionally come to light.
