A
rare and local species in Belgium.
The
larva lives at first on the spun flowers or immature berries of Bryonia,
later inside a leaf spun to a stem, feeding on that stem. It hibernates
full-fed in a cocoon in the earth. Pupation in this cocoon.
The
adults fly from May till the end of July. They are active at dusk and
occasionally come to light.
