A very rare and local species in Belgium. Probably overlooked due to it resemblance with other Argyresthia species, especially A. spinosella and A. conjugella.
The
larva inhabits the young shoots of Sorbus aucuparia or Crataegus.
The
adults fly in one generation a year; onwards from late June towards early September. They come to
light.
