Present
in many areas of Belgium, but seldom recorded.
The
larva lives at first inside a leaf of Crataegus,
later on under a silken web. It has also been recorded from Prunus
spinosa and Cotoneaster.
The
adults fly onwards from mid May towards July, but a partial second generation can
occur in favourable years in August and September. The moths come to
light.
