Zelleria hepariella Stainton, 1849

Hitherto known from only 1 observation in the province of Antwerpen.

The larva lives in a thick silken web among spun leaf-tips of Fraxinus excelsior, sometimes several larvae in each spinning. It pupates in a dense white cocoon attached on a leaf. The adult moth hibernates in dense cover.

The adults fly in one generation;a year from July to August and again after hibernation towards late April. They come to light.
