Ypsolopha nemorella (Linnaeus, 1758)

A not so common species distributed locally across most of Belgium.

The larva feeds from a slight web on the leaves of Lonicera. Pupation in a brown boat-shaped cocoon affixed to a leaf, the trunk or amongst detritus on the ground.

The adults fly from end of June till end of August. They come to light.
