A
rather common species throughout Belgium.
The
larva feeds from a slight web on the upperside of the leaves of
Quercus. Pupation in a whitish boat-shaped cocoon on a leaf,
trunk, or amongst leaf-litter on the ground. The adults hibernate.
The
adults can be observed from mid July towards April. They occasionally come
to light.
